Anti-Spam Policy
mxentra does not tolerate unsolicited mail. Anyone using our infrastructure for it loses access — without warning and without a transition period. This policy sets out what we mean by that and how to report a violation to us.
Our commitments
- We do not send unsolicited messages, and we do not let them be sent through our systems.
- We do not work with clients who we know, or come to learn, send unsolicited mail.
- We do not sell, rent or trade address data from our lists.
- We check where address lists come from before a new programme starts, and keep checking during operation.
What we treat as spam
- The message goes to recipients who never agreed to receive it, or the agreement cannot be evidenced.
- The content has no personal relevance to the recipient — it would suit any number of other recipients equally well.
- The sender, the client behind it or the purpose of the message is obscured.
- The unsubscribe option is missing, does not work, or is made conditional.
What counts as consent
- The recipient was clearly told who would be writing to them and about what, and agreed before the first delivery.
- Consent is individually verifiable — with timestamp, origin and the recipient's confirmation.
- It can be withdrawn at any time, without justification and without disadvantage to the recipient.
- An existing business relationship does not automatically replace consent: the duty to inform and the right to object still apply.
What happens when you report something
- We confirm receipt and trace the report to the responsible programme.
- Where suspicion is reasonable, we halt delivery of that programme — before the investigation, not after it.
- If the violation is confirmed, access is closed permanently and the affected addresses are blocked.
- Blocklist operators reach us at the same address and receive the information they need for their assessment.
If you received unwanted mail sent through our systems, please tell us. The full message headers help most — they allow the delivery path to be traced without ambiguity.
